These
woofers are made from Focal's woven fibreglass cone material. The
crossovers use quality components, and feature tweeter level adjustments. The
tweeters are Focal's unique inverted-dome design, which gives excellent
imaging and wide dispersion angles. This speaker kit sounds very dynamic
and powerful, rich bass and smooth detailed highs, outperforming
anything else in this price range. The power rating is a genuine 60
watts RMS, so they can play quite loudly without distortion. The high
sensitivity of these speakers means that they can be driven by a standard radio/CD head unit. All speakers benefit
from an amplifier, but few sound good without one. An excellent choice
for your first set of high-quality splits.
