Focal-JMlab  creates and distributes high-end speakers, loudspeakers and kits for the car.

We take great care in the distribution of our products : presentation, customer support, installation and after sale service are our number one priority, and to make sure these high standards are kept we do not authorise the online sales of our products.

Products sold by the Internet have been obtained from questionable sources that do not meet Focal JMlab's quality standards. These products may be counterfeits.

We inform you that the warranty, after sales service and the support of these internet-sourced products will only be covered by the seller, and not by Focal.

If you intend to buy genuine Focal products with Australian warranty, we advise you to get in touch with your authorised dealer will offer you time, advice and support.

Focal products carry a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects. Failures caused by external sources are not warrantable. Such external sources of failure include any driver with a burnt-out voicecoil, open-circuits or failures due to over-driving of a speaker or amplifier, incorrect use such as using a driver designed for sealed enclosure in free-air installation, accident and impact damage, installation damage such as the presence of metal filings within a speaker or amplifier, and water damage. Eastcoast Distributors Pty Ltd and its appointed technical advisors shall be the final arbiter of any warranty claim. No claim will be considered without proof of purchase, so keep your receipts. We endeavour to be fair to our customers but we cannot guarantee our products against misuse. Focal products imported from other countries will not be covered by warranty from the Australian distributors or retailers, regardless of whether the products are genuine or not.

Commencing 1st July 2007, products sold and installed by any authorised Focal dealer will have an extended warranty totalling three years from date of sale. The above disclaimer still applies. A receipt showing purchase and installation will be required in the event of a three-year-warranty claim.
